It’s a bit overcast and hazy again this morning here in Beach Haven. Winds are coming from the SSW at about 9mph. The surf is currently calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is reported at 66°. The air temp is currently 72° and heading to 78°.
The bay is calm and is 75°.
Low tide is at 5:43AM and 5:45PM. High tide is at 12:01AM and 11:59PM.
Surf reports have some fluke, some kingfish, some bluefish here and there and then dogfish and rays. In the bay, there have been sporadic reports of back bay keeper fluke and some right out back of Beach Haven. There are also blowfish and snap blues in the bay. Over the weekend up at the lighthouse, John Wall picked out this 23″ fluke weighing in at 4.42#. This puts him in 2nd place for the Jingles In-Store Fluke tournament.
