DAILY REPORT

Memorial Day Weekend is almost here! The morning is warm and a little overcast. Winds are currently coming from the SSW at about 8mph. This morning, the surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 59°. The air temp is currently 64° and heading to 71°.

The bay is calm and 65°.

Low tide is at 2:37AM and 2:30PM. High tide is at 8:24AM and 8:37PM.

Black Drum have been HUGE! Bluefish, Striped Bass and Black Drum and still making anglers happy! Marc and Jake stopped in and bought some surf clams and Jake reeled in this BIG black drum. Josh caught a striper using fresh clams, and Rich Sherman caught this cow coming in about 39″ on surf clams. And Danyaal back in town went out with his surf clams and was right on a striped bass too. Then on the bluefish side of things… Joe weighed in this 9.02# blue using bunker. Out in the bay, anglers are catching fluke, at the reefs they are getting sea bass…. The fishing is great – and its a holiday weekend… We are geared up with bait so get out there…. don’t miss out on this epic LBI fishing!
