Stripers and bluefish have been in the surf all week! Bunker and clams are what’s doing it – big stipers, little stripers and those that are just right! Jonathan Kelly took over first place in the Spring Derby and In-store tournaments with his striper weighing in at 11.22#! It was just under 31″ and was caught in Holgate on surf clams. Shawn Gallen got a keeper striped bass up in Surf City – his was caught using herring. Fluke season is open and Pat Conti has some success up at the lighthouse with this 18″ and 19″ using minnows and gulp. Pat signed up for our IN-Store fluke tournament yesterday morning and has the only two weigh-ins so far!
