Two more Spring Derby Striper weigh-ins yesterday – Danny Federico had another successful day with this 29.25″ and 7.68# caught in Holgate on surf clams and PJ Shapiro got his first weigh-in of the season with this 28.5″ and 7.48# striper caught in Spray Beach using a diamond jig! We also had another non-tournament striper weigh-in yesterday, Joe Zenes came in from PA for a couple days. He bought salted clams and a few hours later he was back with his keeper striped bass – 9.22#! Up north, there was a bluefish weigh-in caught in Ship Bottom at 10.04#. Don’t miss out – get down to LBI and register for the island tournaments and get out there an fish!!
