It’s a bright sunny and actually mild morning today despite the temperature. Sun should keep shining all day! Winds are very mild this morning coming from the S at about 4mph. Currently, the surf is a calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 4-5 oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 53°. The air temp is currently 52° and heading to 56°.

The bay is flat calm and 50°.

Low tide is at 2:21AM and 1:50PM. High tide is at 7:39AM and 8:01PM.

Pat Gallen takes first place in the Spring Derby and the In-Store tournaments for striped bass! His bass was 30.75″ and 10.7# caught in Ship Bottom using salted clams. And the bluefish are here! Two Spring Derby bluefish weigh-ins both caught in Surf City both using bunker. It’s a beautiful day to get out there and fish! Bass and bluefish out there – clams, bunker… go for it!
