DAILY REPORT

It’s another overcast morning here in Beach Haven. It’s been spitting a bit but the winds are mild coming from the WSW at about 5mph. Possible showers this morning but hopefully clearing up this afternoon. Currently, the surf is a bit rougher with 4-5 foot waves . You will need probably at least 5-6 oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 52°. The air temp is currently 52° and heading to 61°.

The bay is calm and 50°.

Low tide is at 12:13AM and 12:37PM. High tide is at 6:17AM and 6:48PM.

Bass are being caught off the surf using mainly clams. Richie caught this 25″ striper using clams in Beach Haven! We are hearing of more bass each day – clams, bloodworms, artificial shads… Talk also that the bluefish should show up in the next week. Striped bass are on and off but also reports of kingfish.
