Possible showers this morning but hopefully clearing up this afternoon. Currently, the surf is a bit rougher with 4-5 foot waves . You will need probably at least 5-6 oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 52°. The air temp is currently 52° and heading to 61°.

The bay is calm and 50°.

Bass are being caught off the surf using mainly clams. Richie caught this 25″ striper using clams in Beach Haven! We are hearing of more bass each day – clams, bloodworms, artificial shads… Talk also that the bluefish should show up in the next week. Don’t forget to sign up for the tournaments – $25 gift card still up for grabs here at Jingles for the first IN-store tournament bluefish weigh-in. In the bay there are reports of big black drum. Striped bass are on and off but also reports of kingfish.
