It’s another BEAUTIFUL morning here in Beach Haven. Winds this morning are coming from the NNW at about 7mph. They should stay steady through the today. The surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves . You will need 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 51°. The air temp is currently 57° and heading to 65°.
The bay is calm and 51°.
Low tide is at 9:33AM and 9:36PM. High tide is at 2:37AM and 3:22PM.
Hearing of some small bass being caught in the surf – another on artificial shad. There are reports that they are catching some stripers off the surf in Brigantine so they should be making their way here. Bay fishing still hot with keeper striped bass using artificials and bloodworms – a good place is around the sod banks. Also seeing some reports of kingfish.
