It’s a overcast morning today with the sun trying to poke through. Winds have picked up even from a bit earlier this morning and are currently W at about 23mph. The surf has calmed down with 2-3 foot waves . You will need 4-5oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 49°. The air temp is currently 52° and heading to 56°.
The bay is very choppy and 50°.
Low tide is at 6:22AM and 6:16PM. High tide is at 12:30PM
Well its super windy today with a west wind so today is a day to fish the surf. We have salted clams and lots of artificial options. Bay fishing still hot with some keeper striped bass being caught with artificials and using bloodworms. Also seeing some reports of kingfish.
