Daily Report

It’s an overcast, but mild morning here in Beach Haven today. Currently winds are coming from the NW at about 9mph. The surf is moderate with 3-4 foot waves. You will need 4-5oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 56°. The air temp is currently 54° and heading to 40°.

The bay is calm and 54°.

Low tide is at 4:44AM and 5:48PM. High tide is at 11:10AM and 11:54PM.

No additional weigh-ins yesterday. John Sullivan had a nice one from Beach Haven that was a bit to big and other than that didn’t hear of anything else. Out on the boats there were some big striped bass caught yesterday morning so they are out there… they just need to come in a little closer to the surf! As for tog, they are still crushing it up by the lighthouse and the tog limit is 5 per person now (at 15″).

**Please remember the Dos & Don’ts for how to handle a striped bass for catch and release. There is a great article you can read on our home page as well as a laminated card here at the shop.**
