Daily report

It’s an overcast, humid and a little wet morning here in Beach Haven. But the rain should be past us and be a partly sunny day. Winds are coming from the S at about 14mph. Currently, the surf is calm with a 1-2 foot waves. You will need 2-3oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 76°. (Reminder… that’s not swim temp)! The air temp is currently 74° and heading to 82°.

The bay is calm and 74°.

Low tide is at 6:59AM and 7:46PM. High tide is at 12:49AM and 1:24PM.

In the surf we still have fluke, snapper bluefish, spot and some kingfish. Had a report yesterday that the snapper blues were in a frenzy down in Holgate! In the bay they are still catching fluke, blowfish, bluefish and some weakfish. Out at the AC Reef, Ron and Denise Hart crushed it with these 4 keeper fluke caught on gulp – the biggest being over 5 lbs!

Miss Beach Haven still getting sea bass and fluke on each trip. In the mornings she heads out to Little Egg Reef where they ave been limiting out on Sea bass and getting some keeper fluke.
