Daily Report

It’s a mostly cloudy morning right now in Beach Haven but the sun should come out and be a beautiful day! Winds are mild coming from the W at about 7mph… Pack your bug spray! Currently, the surf is a little rough with 3-4 foot waves coming quite frequently. You will need 4-5 oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 77°. (Reminder… that’s not swim temp)! The air temp is currently 73° and heading to 86°.

The bay is calm and 74°.

Low tide is at 2:32AM and 2:21PM. High tide is at 8:25AM and 8:34PM.

Fluke, some bluefish and some kingfish in the surf. In the bay there is fluke, bluefish, blowfish and an occasional weakfish. Over the weekend, Connor Johnson weighed-in a doormat fluke – 8.14# and 27.25″ – caught out in the ocean on squid!! This fluke put Connor in first place for the store tournament. Mo Saraullo also weighed in a nice fluke coming in at 3.60# and 21.5″. Out at Little Egg Reef, the Miss Beach Haven has been getting fluke and doing really well with sea bass. She has trips out to the reef every morning (ocean permitting) and bay trips every afternoon! And don’t miss out on the 5PM – 8PM inlet fluke trip – fish for fluke while the sun is saying goodbye for the day! (Thursday through Sunday).
