Daily Report

It’s a beautiful but slightly hazy and hot morning here in Beach Haven today! Winds are mild coming from the SW at about 7mph. Currently, the surf is moderate with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 4-5 oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 73°. The air temp is currently 75° and heading to 85°.

The bay is calm and 73°.

Low tide is at 2:32M and 2:29PM. High tide is at 8:18AM and 8:38PM.

Sorry for the lack of reports – I was just out of town for a few days. So…. back at it! In the surf, anglers are catching bluefish, fluke and kingfish. Little Ryan here got this kingfish over the weekend using fishbites. In the bay there are fluke, weakfish, bluefish and blowfish. Also over the weekend out own store store staffers Sal and Matt caught matching 19″ fluke using gulp. Out at the reefs there are some nice fluke too.

There are NEW STRIPED BASS REGULATIONS!! Effective yesterday, July 2nd, to keep a Striped Bass it must be between 28″ and less than 31″. You can keep one per person. The emergency action does not include the Striped Bass bonus program.

Today we have FRESH BUNKER, BLOODWORMS and MINNOWS! And a reminder to bring in your bait bucket when coming for bait. If you do not have a bucket, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3!
