Although these pictures look EXACTLY like yesterdays – I promise, they are from today! ….One more gray overcast morning here in Beach Haven, again with isolated showers this morning. Winds are not as strong today coming from the SE at about 12mph. This morning, the surf is still a little rough with 1-2 foot waves. You will need 5-6oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 69°. The air temp is currently 61° and heading to 71°.
The bay is flat calm and 64°.
Low tide is at 6:11AM and 6:06PM. High tide is at 12:34PM.
Had no fishing reports lately with all that wind and bad weather the last couple of days. So… the Spring Derby ends this Sunday, June 25th. Looks like current catches will be the winners… unless someone comes in with a bigger one! Crabbing reports are good and also did hear of some fluke caught out back in the bay this week.
