No weigh-ins yesterday…. and the Spring Derby goes on for 5 more days until Sunday, June 25th. There may be a few straggler stripers out there, but in the surf there are definitely fluke, kingfish and some blues. In the bay there are fluke, some bluefish and some weakfish. A couple successful charter trips yesterday… Connor Smilon of LBI Fishing Guides did a quick two hour trip for some beginning fishermen and women – They had 2 keepers and a bunch of throwbacks! And Jonathan Kelly of LBI Sport Fishing has had a few successful trips over the last couple of days – offshore and in.
