The bay is calm and 67°.

We had a Spring Derby bluefish weigh-in on Sunday – Joe O’Connor weighed-in a 8.34# and 29.5″ bluefish caught using bunker caught in Holgate! The Spring Derby goes on for 5 more days until Sunday, June 25th. There may be a few more straggler stripers out there…. you may still be able to bring in the winning fish… you never know!! Also in the surf, there are fluke and kingfish. Andrew Kim targeted the jetties in Beach Haven on Sunday and caught a bunch of short fluke before landing this 18″ keeper using gulp grubs. In the bay there are fluke, small blues and a sporadic weakfish – which Dave Daub happened to find… and this was no small weakfish at 25″!

The Miss Beach Haven had a couple trips on Sunday for Father’s Day, and Monday. Some nice fluke were caught and a couple keeper Sea Bass. Sea Bass is now closed until July 1st, which is then becomes 1 per person. MBH is now running everyday – so book your vacation fishing trip!

Today we have MINNOWS! And a reminder to bring in your bait bucket when coming for bait. If you do not have a bucket, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3!
