We have an overcast morning here in Beach Haven today with talk of rain on and off. Currently, winds are mild coming from the SSW at about 6mph. Currently, the surf is calm with 0-1 foot waves. You will need 3-4oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 67°. The air temp is currently 69° and heading to 71°.

The bay is calm and 66°.

Low tide is at 1:21AM and 1:12PM. High tide is at 7:12AM and 7:31PM.

We had a fluke weigh-in yesterday for the In-store fluke tournament! Maureen Saraullo weighed in a 3.18#, 20.5″ fluke caught on minnows! The tournament goes through the entire fluke season so come on in and sign up! $10 to enter and prizes through 4th place! In the surf we are still hearing of a striper here and there. There are also bluefish, fluke and kingfish! In the bay there are fluke, small blues and a sporadic weakfish. The Miss Beach Haven had two successful trips yesterday. The morning trip went out to Little Egg Reef and brought back a bunch of sea bass and a couple fluke. The Evening Sunset Fluke trip brought backs some fluke! Trips are running both Saturday and Sunday – so need a Father’s Day gift?? – Take your Dad on a fishing trip!
