It started to be a beautiful sunny morning here in Beach Haven when all of the sudden the fog came in fast! Currently, winds are mild coming from the NE at about 11mph but winds are going to pick up in the next couple of hours to 25-30mph! Currently, the surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 63°. The air temp is currently 63° and heading to 65°.

The bay is flat calm and 65°.

Low tide is at 2:02AM and 1:56PM. High tide is at 7:47AM and 8:06PM.

There was s Spring Derby striper weigh-in yesterday up in Surf City in North Beach – 16.3# Looking at the On The Water Striper Migration Map, the but BIG stripers are moving more north but shows the 30-35″ still here! The surf still has striped bass, bluefish, and black drum, and some fluke and the bay has fluke, weakfish and some small blues. Out at Little Egg Reef, the The Miss Beach Haven had much success catching sea bass and fluke coming with 10+ keepers!

The BHMTC Tuna Open Captains Meeting is today from 3pm – 7pm. There is still time to sign up and join the fishing and fun by coming to the Captains meeting tonight! Monday is the first allowable day of fishing.
