Daily Report

It’s another beautiful sunny morning here in Beach Haven! Winds are almost non-existent this morning from the NE at about 1mph! Currently, the surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 2-3 oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 63°. The air temp is currently 61° and heading to 69°.

The bay is flat calm and 66°.

Low tide is at 1:12AM and 1:09PM. High tide is at 7:00AM and 7:23PM.

Things are still quiet with the winds and the dirty water that have been here the last couple of days, but Rich Sherman fought through it and brought in a striper for a Spring Derby weigh-in yesterday! His striper was 8.24# and 29.5″ caught on clam. It is beautiful and calm out there today and we got in fresh bunker this morning so it’s a great time to get out there! The surf still has striped bass, bluefish, and black drum, and some fluke and the bay has fluke, weakfish and some small blues. The Spring Derby and both store tournaments are still going on so maybe you will still bring in that bigger striper, bluefish or fluke!

The Miss Beach Haven is heading out today and has a 3/4 day trip scheduled for tomorrow! We need a few more people to make the trip tomorrow, so if you want to get out on her and go fishing, you can book online at www.missbeachhaven.com.

The BHMTC Tuna Open starts this Saturday, June 3rd with the Captains Meeting from 3pm – 7pm. There is still time to sign up and join the fishing and fun!

Today we have FRESH BUNKER and BLOODWORMS! And a reminder to bring in your bait bucket when coming for bait. If you do not have a bucket, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3!
