It’s finally a beautiful morning here in Beach Haven that’s going to lead to a beautiful day! Winds are mild coming from the WNW at about 7mph. Currently, the surf is a bit rough with 3-4 foot, frequent waves. I am hearing you will need 6-8oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 55°. The air temp is currently 48° and heading to 61°.

The bay is calm and 54°.

Low tide is at 3:10AM ans 3:07PM. High tide is at 8:54AM and 9:11PM.

More weigh-ins here at the shop yesterday – One Spring Derby bluefish weigh-in by Shawn Gallen – 12.00# and 35″ Shawn’s fish puts him in first place for bluefish in the Spring Derby and for the Jingles Store Tournament! Also had our first fluke weigh-in yesterday: Connor Johnson brought in a 17.5″ and 1.86#. He won the Jingles $25 gift card for the first fluke and stands along in the Jingles Store Tournament. Also reports of more bluefish biting and Jim Davis had some success with a nice big striper yesterday.

Today we have MINNOWS, SURF CLAMS (In Shell and Shucked), FRESH BUNKER (more coming today) and BLOODWORMS!
