It’s a beautiful mild, slightly hazy morning here in Beach Haven today, with storms coming in this afternoon. Winds are from the SW at about 14mph. Low tide is at 2:51AM and 3:02PM. High tide is at 8:41AM and 9:03PM.
No derby weigh-ins yesterday, but Jimmy Betz caught a striper off the surf in Spray Beach on salted clams. Bass are being caught in the bay – under the bridge and by the sod banks. Bloodworms are the bait of choice, along with soft plastics or small plugs.
