It’s a mostly cloudy, cool morning here in Beach Haven. Winds are strong, coming from the NE at about 19mph. Currently, the surf is a little rough with with 3-4 foot waves, coming quite frequently due to the winds. You will need 7-8 oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 49°. The air temp is currently 39° and heading to 45°.
The bay is relatively calm and 45°.
Low tide is at 2:37AM and 3:29PM. High tide is at 8:46AM and 9:26PM.
Bass continue off the surf – A couple more weigh-ins for the derby yesterday. Matt Shapiro caught this 12.82# in Brant Beach using bunker, and then John Sullivan came in with this 11.98# also from Brant Beach on bunker. It’s quite windy out there today but you have today and tomorrow left for the tournament!
