Well, the nice weather is back and fluke season is today and tomorrow! It’s a sunny, beautiful, mild morning here in Beach Haven! Winds are WNW at about 12mph. Currently, the surf is relatively calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 71°. The air temp is currently 69° and heading to 73°.
The bay is calm and 65°.
Low tide is at 2:44AM and 3:03M. High tide is at 8:44AM and 8:51PM.
Reports of plenty of cocktails bluefish and kingfish are being report again in the surf. You can still legally picked up some fluke also. In the bay, there are weakfish, blowfish, and some fluke. There are blues int he inlet. Tomorrow is the last day of fluke season so you can head out to the reefs to pick up some of the bigger ones. Right now, 5.54lbs holds first place in our store fluke tournament.
