Daily Report

It’s a beautiful, warm, mostly sunny morning here in Beach Haven! The wind is mild coming from the SSW at about 6mph. Currently, the surf is flat calm with 0-1 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 77°. The air temp is currently 76° and heading to 80°.

The bay is calm and 74°.

Low tide is at 8:23AM and 9:44PM. High tide is at 2:11AM and 2:46PM.

Fluke continues in the surf with some kingfish and some bluefish here and there. Connor of LBI Fishing Guides had two nice fluke off the surf over the weekend – One 3.5lbs and 20″ and the second 2.12lbs and just under 18″. Both on gulp. In the bay and the inlet you can pick up some keeper fluke and in the bay, plenty of blowfish. Matty and our friend David went out and David caught this nice keeper – 2.96lbs and 20.5″.

In the inlet just received a report from Tanner S – “Insane action down at the inlet. Weekfish under schools of bait and blue fish blitzing everywhere. Also have seen some pretty big sheepshead pulled up.”

Out at the reefs they are starting to see some nice keeper fluke. And anlgers have been doing very well with tog.

Today we have fresh bunker and minnows.
