It’s a beautiful cooler morning here in Beach Haven today! Winds are coming from the W at about 8mph. Currently, the surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. Sandy Hook buoy temp is 74°, LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 76° and The Atlantic City buoy temp is 71°. The air temp is currently 70° and heading to 76°.

The bay is choppy and 70°.

Low tide is at 7:14AM and 8:11PM. High tide is at and 1:13AM 1:43PM.

Word is still still kingfish and fluke in the surf. In the bay there are still fluke and plenty of blowfish. Ryan Brunk caught this 2.34lb, 19″ fluke in the bay around Holgate. And Connor Smilon of FishHawk Charters had a keeper yesterday in the bay on his morning trip.

The White Marlin Invitational (with Jingles as a Platinum Sponsor!!) Captains Meeting was last night and a bunch of boats headed out after midnight! Weigh-ins can be viewed at the Dock Road Marlin Fest, which is behind Bird & Betty’s. Weigh-ins start at 5pm with the festival, a family friendly event, starting at 4pm. Come see us at the Jingles booth where we will have our new Marlin and Tuna sweatshirts and T-shirts. Ship Bottom Brewery beer garden will be at the Queen City Marina, there is music and more – don’t miss it!
