It’s a beautiful sunny, hot morning here in Beach Haven today! Winds are mild coming from the SW at about 5mph. The surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. Sandy Hook buoy temp is 78°, LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 73° and The Atlantic City buoy temp is 77°. The air temp is currently 77° and heading to 83°.
The bay is calm and 75°.
Low tide is at 6:43AM and 7:30PM. High tide is at 12:30AM and 1:17PM.
Surf still has kingfish and fluke. Our own Sal Marzano and Matt Colombo had this nice 19″ off the surf last evening using gulp. In the bay there are fluke and lots of blowfish. In the inlet there continues to be a ton of fluke – shorts and keepers. The Miss Beach Haven had 7 keepers yesterday. Out at the reefs there are some nice sea bass and In the rocks there are tog.
