Daily Report

It’s a mostly cloudy morning here in Beach Haven today but the sun is forcing its way out now. The wind is mild coming from the NE at about 7mph. The surf is moderate with 3-4 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 73°. The temp is currently 69° and heading to 78°.

The bay is calm and 66°.

Low tide is at 9:21AM and 10:20PM. High tide is at 2:46AM and 3:34PM.

In the surf, anglers are still killing it with kingfish. They are also catching fluke, some blues and dogfish. In the bay, there are fluke, weakfish and some bluefish in the inlet. On Wednesday, Connor Smilon, of LBI Fishing Guides, and his brother Tim caught 12 fluke off the beach, with two keepers, 20″ and 19″! Fishhawk Charters was out in the bay and caught a handful of shorts and had at 17.5″ keeper.

Today we have fresh bunker, minnows and just a handful of bloodworms.
