Happy 4th of July!! It is an absolutely gorgeous July 4th morning here in Beach Haven!! The wind is mild coming from the N at about 9mph. The surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 69°. The temp is currently 71° and heading to 77°.
The bay is calm and 68°.
Low tide is at 6:06AM and 6:05PM. High tide is at 12:26PM.
In the surf, anglers are killing it with kingfish. They are also catching fluke, some blues and dogfish. And saw a report of a nice striper that was still hanging around. In the bay, there are fluke, weakfish and some bluefish in the inlet. And out at the reef there are some seabass.
Today we have minnows and fresh bunker. We are closing at 3pm to enjoy the holiday with our families. Have a safe, healthy and happy 4th of July!
