The holiday weekend is upon us and it’s an overcast but very warm morning here in Beach Haven. The wind is strong coming from the SW at about 17mph. The surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 73°. The temp is currently 76° and heading to 81°.
The bay is calm and 72.5°.
Low tide is at 4:57AM and 4:47PM. High tide is at 11:01AM and 10:49PM.
In the surf, anglers are getting kingfish, fluke and still getting some blues, dogfish and sharks. In the bay, there are fluke, weakfish and some bluefish in the inlet. Had a report of nice 24″ fluke caught yesterday out back!
Today we have minnows, fresh bunker and bloodworms. Have a safe, healthy and happy 4th weekend!
