Daily Report

It’s a beautiful morning here in Beach Haven today – and going to be a great day! Currently, the wind is mild, blowing from the N at about 6mph. The surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 65°. The temp is currently 63° and heading to 75°.

The bay is calm and 67°.

Low tide is at 5:59AM and 5:44PM. High tide is at 12:16PM.

Striper are still being caught on the surf – here Bill Jerome caught this 13.04lb, 33″ in Beach Haven using clams. Bluefish also in the surf. In the bay, the fish whisperer, Connor Smilon, (of Fish Hawk Charters) and Sal Marzano, (both from Jingles!) caught these three keeper fluke – 19.5″, 19.25″, and 17.75″ using gulp. Also in the bay, anglers are catching weakfish and still getting schoolie stripers. Out at the wrecks, Nick Perello of Aquila Sportfishing had 26 keeper sea bass on Thursday. So much to fish for…. get on out there!

Don’t forget that the 2nd Annual Beach Haven Tuna Open is next week with the Captains Meeting on Sunday night at 4pm. There is still time to sign up!

Today we have surf clams, fresh shucked clams, minnows (while they last) and bloodworms. Fresh bunker will be here about 8AM.
