A beautiful, but partly cloudy morning today in Beach Haven! Currently, the wind is blowing from the N at about 14mph. The surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 57°. The temp is currently 63° and heading to 67°.
Low tide is at 9:19AM and 9:48PM. High tide is at 2:39AM and 3:20PM.
The bay is slightly choppy and 63°.
Still getting reports of stripers in the surf – many of them keeper size and shorts. Harry Copeland caught a couple keeper size and brought this one home for dinner. In the bay, Captain Connor Smilon, from Fish Hawk Charters, has some success with two keeper fluke – 18″ and 20″ caught on gulp.
Today we have fresh bunker, surf clam and fresh shucked clam.
