Another BEAUTIFUL morning here in Beach Haven today!! Two in a row! Currently, the wind is from the WNW at about 10mph. The surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 54°. The temp is currently 56° and heading to 64°.
The bay has a slight chop and 57°.
Low tide is at 4:27AM and 4:27PM. High tide is at 10:18AM and 10:39PM.
No derby weigh-ins yesterday. But reports of anglers still catching bass. Black Sea Bass is open until June 19th – 10″ fish at 13″ per angler. So much to fish for right now – stripers, bluefish, fluke and black sea bass. You can still get into the Spring Derby for striped bass and bluefish – Anglers getting some big fish so there is always a chance to knock someone off the leader board.
Today we have surf clam, fresh shucked clam and fresh bunker.
