It is a mostly cloudy morning here in Beach Haven today – but I did actually see the sun for a quick second! Get out this morning because storms are coming through tonight, but then I think we will have a great week! Currently, the wind is mild from the NNE at about 8mph. The surf is calm with 2-3′ waves. You will need 4-5 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 51°. The temp is currently 60° and heading to 64°.
The bay is calm and 57°.
Low tide is at 2:45AM and 2:47PM. High tide is at 8:32AM and 8:54PM.
Another derby bluefish weigh-in yesterday. They are good size bluefish too. Gary Grippaldi sent me a picture of this 45″ cow he caught on clam on Saturday. Lots of fish out there. You can still get into the Spring Derby for striped bass and bluefish – Anglers getting some big fish so there is always a chance to knock someone off the leader board.
Today we have fresh bunker and live minnows.
