It’s a partly sunny, cool morning here in Beach Haven. Currently, the wind is mild from the SSE at about 9mph. The surf is very calm with 0-1 foot waves. You will need at about 3-4 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 34° and heading to 45°. The ocean temp is 53°.

The bay has a mild chop and 42°.

Low tide is at 10:16AM and 10:33PM. High tide is at 3:47AM and 3:58PM.

The bass are here – There were 6 derby weigh-ins yesterday!! There was a peanut bunker frenzy in Harvey Cedars last evening just around sunset that resulted in anglers plucking bass out of the water left and right. All six weigh-ins were caught on a lure, shad or jig. Here at Jingles, Chris Masino another weigh-in, this one coming in at 7.60lbs and 28.25″. Then right after, father and son, Kevin Cheeseman and Kevin Cheeseman Jr. showed up with a bass caught by Little Kevin, age 8, with an 8.12lbs and 28.5″ bass caught on an ava jig. The biggest bass weighed-in yesterday was up in Surf City by James Worobetz – 12.38lbs and 31.5″. Congrats to all anglers!

Today we have fresh bunker, eels and green crabs.
