The bass are here – There were 6 derby weigh-ins yesterday!! There was a peanut bunker frenzy in Harvey Cedars last evening just around sunset that resulted in anglers plucking bass out of the water left and right. All six weigh-ins were caught on a lure, shad or jig. Here at Jingles, Chris Masino another weigh-in, this one coming in at 7.60lbs and 28.25″. Then right after, father and son, Kevin Cheeseman and Kevin Cheeseman Jr. showed up with a bass caught by Little Kevin, age 8, with an 8.12lbs and 28.5″ bass caught on an ava jig. The biggest bass weighed-in yesterday was up in Surf City by James Worobetz – 12.38lbs and 31.5″. Congrats to all anglers!
Today we have fresh bunker, eels and green crabs.
