It’s are partly sunny, cooler, and a little hazy morning here in Beach Haven today, but it’s going to warm up nicely! Currently, the wind is mild coming from the NW at about 8mph. The surf is calm with 2 to 3 foot waves. You will need at about 3-4 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 63° and heading to 73°. The ocean temp is 68°.
The bay has a slight chop and 66°.
Low tide is 9:33AM and 10:23PM. High tide is at 3:09AM and 3:34PM.
Had a derby kingfish weigh in this morning. Pat Gallen with a 12″, .7lb caught on fishbites in Holgate. Aside from the kingfish, also reports of plenty of cocktail blues. In the back off the sod banks , JP said they had a blast catching 60+ stripers using a top water plugs. Still getting weakfish too.
Today we have fresh bunker and and bloodworms.
