It’s a cloudy, rainy morning today in Beach Haven. Currently, the wind is coming from the WSW at about 10mph. The surf is calm this morning with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 70° and heading to 80°. The ocean temp is 74°.

The bay has a little chop and 73°.

Low tide is 2:06AM and 2:11PM. High tide is at 8:03AM and 8:11PM.

In the surf, anglers are starting to pick up some bluefish using mullet and mullet rigs. Also still getting kingfish, fluke, sharks and rays as well. In the bay, we have snappers , fluke, blowfish and weakfish. We had a couple fluke weigh-ins on Saturday. Joe O’Connor had a 3.22lb, 21″ fluke caught at Garden State South using bucktail and gulp and then Gary Rowles brought in the new tournament leading fluke – 5.66lbs and 24.5″! He was also at Garden State South using minnows and gulp. The inlet and the reefs are yielding keeper fluke and bluefish.  Crabbing continues to be good.

Today we have fresh bunker, minnows and bloodworms.
