Daily Report

It’s a muggy, overcast, warm morning here in Beach Haven today. Chance of showers on and off all day today. Currently, there is a mild wind coming from the NE at about 6mph. The surf is calm today with 2-3 foot waves. You will need about 3-4 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 76° and heading to 80°. The ocean temp is 78°.

The bay is calm and 78°.

Low tide is 6:19AM and 7:07PM. High tide is at 12:28AM and 12:52PM.

Kingfish, fluke, small blues, sharks and rays are still in the surf. In the bay, we have snappers , fluke, blowfish and weakfish. Tor Larson brought in this doormat yesterday to be weighed – 7.66lbs and 28″!!! Caught out at Garden State South. And Nick Perello on the Aquila limited out on fluke and also caught tog and weakfish. The inlet and the reefs are yielding keeper fluke and bluefish.  Crabbing continues to be good.

Today we have FRESH bunker, minnows and bloodworms.
