Daily Report

It’s an overcast, cool morning in Beach Haven but the sun is supposed to come out today. The wind is coming out of the NNE at about 10mph. Currently, the surf is a relatively calm with 2 to 3 foot waves. You will need about 4-5 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 63° and heading to 67°. The ocean temp is 67°.

The bay is calm and 63°.

Low tide is at 4:10AM and 3:56PM. High tide is at 10:03AM and 9:54PM.

We had a bluefish weigh-in yesterday – actually 3! Paul Lindsey brought in 3 bluefish caught up at Barnegat Light using an SP Minnow. His biggest being 6.38lbs. It’s been a couple days since we have heard of stripers but there are kingfish and fluke in the surf. There are fluke and weakfish in the bay. Sea bass bite out at the reefs – you can keep 10 for another week and a half.
