It’s a partly sunny, mild but windy morning here in Beach Haven. Sadly, they are calling for rain this afternoon and tomorrow so get out there this morning! Currently the wind is out of the NE at about 16mph. The surf is relatively calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 4 to 5 oz to hold. The temp is currently 60° and heading to 64°. The ocean temp 65°.
The bay is calm and 65°.
Low tide is at 4:12AM and 4:15PM. High tide is at 10:06AM and 10:27PM.
And the striped bass continue in the surf! Chrissy caught this keeper yesterday morning – her first!! 7.42lbs and 28″ on salted clam in Holgate. And John had this cow that was safely released. There are still a fair amount of dogfish out there too. In the bay, Rich and the Budman caught a couple flatties on Jingles minnows yesterday afternoon.
