It is a beautiful, mild, sunny morning in Beach Haven today! It is going to warm up a bit and be a beautiful weekend! There is slight wind out of the SW. The surf is calm today with1-2 foot waves. Currently you will need 2-3 ounces to hold. The ocean temp is 53°. The air temp is 54° heading to 60°.
The bay has a very slight chop and the temp is 45°.
Low tide was at 5:24AM and 6:15PM. High tide is at 11:48AM.
No LBI Derby weigh-ins yesterday but we did have a boat striper weigh-in. Trevor Carlson caught this nice bass about a mile off of IBSP using a Mann’s stretch. Weighed in at 8.02lb and was 29″! Had some other reports of some schoolies and shorts. But beware of the dogfish – they are out a plenty. The Derby’s segment 2 is coming to an end this weekend with one more segment to go. Its going to be a beautiful weekend to try and win some money!
