It is a beautiful ,sunny, mild morning in Beach Haven. There is a slight breeze coming from NW. The surf is calm today with 2-3 foot waves. Currently you will need 3-4 ounces to hold. The ocean temp is 59°. The air temp is 43° heading to 55°.
The bay is choppy and the temp is 57°.
Low tide is at 12:59PM. High tide was at 6:31AM and 6:51PM.
They are here for sure! Did receive more reports of big slobs. Have heard there are some bluefish out there but no weigh-ins yet. They are killing it striper fishing by boat now on the north end of the island. Tog bite is still good at the rocks and wrecks.
If you catch a throw back striper, please be mindful to release it safely…. try to keep it in the water, keep the handling to a minimum and release gently while working water through it. No pics of it in the back of a truck, holding it by the gills, etc…….
