Daily Report

Happy Veterans Day! We get one more BEAUTIFUL mild November morning in Beach Haven! I wanted to get the picture of that sun before the clouds and the rain move in later today. There is a strong breeze coming from SSW. The surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. Currently you will need 2-3 ounces to hold. The ocean temp is 60°. The air temp is 64° heading to 69°.

The bay is calm and the temp is 58°.

Low tide is at 10:15AM and 10:44PM. High tide is at 4:05PM.

The stripers are here! Just had a Derby weigh-in here – John Sullivan caught a striper in Beach Haven using an SP Minnow. 29″ and 8.64lbs. Pat Gallen caught this monster 46″ bass last evening in Holgate that had to be released due to size. Pat was using bunker. Have heard there are some bluefish out there but no weigh-ins yet. They are killing it striper fishing by boat now on the north end of the island.

And in the pre-sunrise photo… that bright bright light in the sky is Venus!
