Another HOT, but beautiful, morning in Beach Haven. The wind is mild and out of the N. The surf is calm with 2 to 3 foot waves. Currently you will need 3 to 4 ounces to hold. The ocean temp is 70°. The air temp is 79° and heading to 85˚.
The bay is calm and the temp is 80°.
Low tide is at 3:11PM. High tide is at 9:04AM and 9:11PM.
Kingfish, bluefish and fluke – that is the story off the beach! Kingfish on fishbites and bloodworms (which we will have about 3pm today), bluefish on mullet, and fluke on gulp or squid. The Smilon boys got a pair of matching 18 inchers off the surf last evening!
The bay and the reefs continue to produce fluke. Quite a number of people are starting to go for blowfish… please submit or send us your reports!
