Daily Report

Good Morning,

It is a clear, beautiful, cold, sunny morning in Beach Haven. I want to thank Gary Rietmann for helping me with today’s surf report as Steve is fishing the BHMTC Striper Tournament so I could not make it up to the beach!  The surf is moderately calm with 3 to 4 foot waves. Slight breeze today coming from the N. The ocean temp is 60°. Gary says he is holding with 5 ounces. The air temp is 44° and heading to 55°.

The bay is flat calm and 54°.

High tide is at 12:38PM. Low tide was at 6:11AM and 7:02PM.

A great day to get out there to throw a line in!  There was a Classic weigh-in this morning – Chris McIntee caught a Striped Bass in Holgate on an SP Minnow – 17.18lbs and 34.75″.

There are a number of tournaments happening today.  The 2nd Annual American Angler Surf Fishing Tournament going on in Ship Bottom and Long Beach Township.  Offshore we have the Beach Haven Marlin & Tuna Club, Southwicks Marina, and Maximilian Foundation Tournaments.  So there are a lot of anglers in action today – and I am optimistic to report some fish at some point!  Best of luck to all anglers!!
