Beautiful moon rise last night.
Two weigh-ins of stripers were reported last night and this morning, one on squid and one on a swim shad. It looks like they are starting to show up. I also had reports of blues. I saw some boats in the inlet and anglers via trucks on the tip of Holgate going for blue fish, also boats around the sod banks for stripers. I went out with my friend Michael Schreiber on the Knot Guilty to GSS yesterday morning for sea bass and came back with a keeper. Also had a report from another boat that limited out on sea bass for all four guys on the boat.
