It is a sunny, beautiful, crisp morning in Beach Haven. The surf is calm with 2 to 3 foot waves. The wind is mild and out of the SW. You will need 4 to 5 ounces to hold. The water temp is 71°. The air temp is currently 59° and heading to 76°.
The bay is calm and 71°.
High tide is at 5:34PM. Low tide is at 11:31AM.
The small blues are still running in the surf. We have had reports of kingfish as well. There were no credible bay reports yesterday, however, there should be blues by the inlet and weakfish should still be around. We have heard from two reliable anglers that the ride out to or back from the tip of Holgate has an impassable section in this high tide. If you go out, make sure you leave in time to get back or you will be waiting to return.
