It is sunny and clear this morning in Beach Haven. The surf is calm with 2 to 3 foot waves. The wind is calm and out of the ENE. 3 to 4 ounces will hold. The water temp is 72°. The air temp is currently 68° and heading to 76°.
The bay is flat calm and 71°.
High tide is at 6:16PM. Low tide is at 12:06PM.
The surf is yielding kingfish, fluke and snapper blues. The bay has bait fish galore and we have had reports of fluke and weakfish. I was out at Little Egg reef yesterday with my pal, Dr. Hank. We caught plenty of fluke (with keeper), sea robin, Black Sea bass (not in season, caught unintentionally and released), blue fish and one weakfish. We also has a nice cobia weighed in yesterday, 16.98 pounds caught off shore on a deadly dick.
