Daily Report

Good Morning,

It is a mostly sunny, clear morning in Beach Haven. The surf is slightly rough with 3 to 4 foot waves. Ocean temp is 72°. The wind is moderate and out of the NNE. 4 to 5 ounces should hold. The air temp is currently 73° and heading to 81°.

The bay is slightly choppy and 72°.

High tide is at 9:13AM and 9:25PM. Low tide is at 3:22PM.

The surf is still yielding kingfish, keeper fluke and cocktail blues. The bay has weakfish, fluke and blowfish galore. Off shore is producing fluke and keeper sea bass. We were in the inlet yesterday morning and were catching short after short, but the keepers are there as well. Capt. John Lewis on the Insatiable caught fluke and sea bass on multiple trips just off shore.

Today is the Junior Mates outing with the charter captains, a great organization to teach teens how to become mates on the local charter boats. We are proud of all of them.
