So hearing about a whole bunch of fluke being caught over the weekend. Keepers, though are a little different story… The BHMTC all women Reel Queens Fluke Jam was this Saturday with almost 50 boats! Plenty of fluke caught but not a lot of keepers. Congratulations to Polly’s Dock for bringing in the heaviest fluke at 6.4#. And Congratulations to Fawn and Tricia of team Jingles who brought in our only 2 keepers. Fawn at 3.54# and Tricia at 2.3#. But as a team we won Team Spirit!
In the surf, mostly the same with the fluke – more shorts than keepers but still plenty of fluke season left to go! There are also kingfish in the surf and of course lots of dogfish and rays.
