DAILY REPORT

It’s an absolutely beautiful July morning here in Beach Haven today!! The wind right now is coming from the NNE at about 6mph. Currently the surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is about 74°. The air temp is currently 71° and heading to 79°!

The bay is calm and 72.9°.

Low tide is at 7:12AM and 7:45PM. High tide is at 12:57AM and 1:37PM.

The VFW tournament finished up this weekend with over 70 fish caught and a bunch of fun had by all! Congratulations to all the winners! (Which actually includes myself with 3rd place in the women’s category! :)) Largest fluke overall weighed in at 5.42# by Justin Warfield in the Teen Division!

Also over the weekend we had these two young ladies with success in the bay – the biggest being 3.5# and 24″. And Casey Zorba caught this 1.8# and 18″ fluke using gulp in the bay. Bay fishing for fluke is very active… you just need to work through all the shorts to come up with a couple keepers. Surf fishing is seeing some fluke and kingfish and lots of dogfish and sharks. Again, the fluke are still small but anglers are catching.

TODAY WE HAVE A MINNOWS, FRESH BUNKER and BLOODWORMS!

Don’t forget your bait bucket – If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! AND Send us your pictures and fishing reports to Instagram, FaceBook or jinglesbait@comcast.net.
