Overcast and spitting rain this morning in Beach Haven. The rain should be moving out but may remain overcast. Hopefully we will get a little sun. The surf is rough with 3 to 4 foot waves. The wind is strong and out of the NNE. The ocean temp is 71°. You will need 6 to 8 ounces to hold bottom. The air temp is currently 70° and heading to 78°.
The bay is calm and a cool 70°.
Low tide is 12:43PM. High tide is at 6:52PM.
The report today is still the same with the ocean also still rough. There are kingfish, cocktail blues and fluke in the surf, but the wind making it tough to cast and the rip making it tough to stick. In the bay, weakfish, small sea bass and blowfish as well as small stripers.
